    HI JOE I AM IN MY 10TH MO. AND I HAD NO APP. FOR ABOUT SIX MO. THEN IT SLOWLY BEGAN TO RETURN. NOW IT IS NORMAL AND MOST EVERYTHING IS RETURNING TO NORMAL.     Hi Des: I didn't eat for about 2months. I existed on ice pops, jello and soup. Darn if I lost any weight either. I would deffenitely check with the doc about side effects on your meds. My Mom had her bypass at 82 and would not eat a bite. She had other problems too. On the other hand my sister had hers at age 52 and she really chowed down and gained a lot of weight. Darn if I can figure any of this out. We are all different and I thing we have to let our bodies tell us. Unfortunately mine didnt give me notice that I needed this bypass. Maybe Im hard of hearing :) Hoping for the best Stannis
