WE are all Individuals
Heh. Actually, my surgeon told me my heart is in *great* shape. It was just all the plumbing _around_ it that was bad. I haven't noticed that. Clearly, there are some people that seem to have big trouble with statins, but from the few people posting about that I doubt it's more than 1-2 percent of us. Thank goodness, because right now they look like a godsend.
Well said Donna, have agreat evening and life. Chris << Hi all, hope everyone is okay today!! I think I would like to remind everyone that we are individuals living with a HEART that has failed us, but we and our Doctors, our families, our faith, our hope, our friends, and support groups have kept all of alive today and many more days and years to come !! My point is; we, at least I, have to do what is right for me, I don't think we all need to be taking or not taking the same medications, what works for one might not work of another. I see a distinct attitude that we all should not be taking statins, we should be taking CQ-10, we should take Policosanol - not there is anything wrong with taking non-prescription drugs, just check with your Doctors, make sure they agree you should be off stat ins. Maybe that is your life-saving drug for now or forever, maybe you NEED that drug!!! We just need to support each other, offer assistance or advice but follow our Doctor's orders too. We also have a choice of what Dr's. to see and listen too, if you don't connect with one, try another one, ill you feel OK with your DR. Any surgery takes a full year to recover from fully, like gall bladder, having a baby, getting that bum knee fixed. Our By-Pass Surgery is the most Major Type of Surgery that there is, we have LIVED through it! Take your full year to pamper yourself, show off your scar, and don't overdue, cause you will know tomorrow when you have overdone.
