Heart Bypass Surgery

HI All, My latest round of complications with the heart started off with routine blood tests, then a stress test, then a nuclear stress test and that led to an angiogram. Results of the angiogram showed I need another bypass surgery. Looks like 2 new blockages. Since it is not an emergency situation at the moment like it was for the 1st bypass surgery I have opted to wait to have the surgery until after the New Year.The original grafts are still fine so that is good. I have diabetes which continually causes me complications even though I monitor it very carefully and never eat anything I shouldn't. It appears the diabetes is also causing the heart problem. I was also sent to the endochrinologist right away but there is nothing that he can do as everything test wise looks great. For now I can still go for a daily walk and use my exercise bike and be home and able to participate in Christmas including shopping for my kids so for that I am very grateful. Gail
