Hi Susan, My grandmother had bypass surgery at the age of 84 and lived 12 more wonderful years. Every case is different of course, but I hope this is encouraging to you and to your dad. Its likely that once the first 8 weeks of recovery are over that he will feel better than he has in years. Keep us posted!
