Stent Successful

The procedure putting two sents in my carotid artery just above the carotid arch went fine yesterday. 24 hours in the hospital and one sore spot on the groin. I did have one spasm of the carotid arch artery after one hour in the ICU which caused my heart to almost stop, but it was recovered very well with a stimulant. Now, I have to go to another card, give them all the tests result films on the coronory artery stents that are blocked after being in there two years, and try to find a card that will repair those stents, plus add one. This particular card missed the carotid artery arch blockage completely two years ago, and diagnosed it as a bad aortic valve. The vascular intervenor doc caught the blocked carotid arch artery on the pre op exam for the bypass and the valve replacement. He had the lab do a TEE test and a ct scan angiogram of the heart valves and the carotid artery, and probably saved my life after the bumbling card missed the diagnosis and was going to have a heart surgeon do a triple bypass and a valve replacement. I am going to take a month or two off, rest up, and get a new card. I started a supplement regime two months ago that is helping blood pressure and bringing up HDL and Lowering LDl. Coenzyme Q-10, Beta Sitosterol,L-taurine, Red Yeast Rice, Garlic, Celery seeds, Folic acid, fish oils, B-6, Alpha Lipioc acid, Biotin, EFA oils, C, D, Calcium, magenisum, and a multivitamin. This brought my LDL/HDL Ratio down four and my triglycirids up to 95. Blood pressure after the carotid stent is 120 over 50, so I still have to get those stents unblocked or bypassed.
