reduced kidney size
Hi Has anyone experience severly reduced kidney working and size after their bypasses. My dad has been told that his kidneys are reducing in size and are not operating as properly as they should, is this something to be worried about? What actions did anyone who experienced this take? Richy
No, judging from the posts here this is not a common reaction to bypass surgery. Probably unrelated.
My dad had the bypass 1 year ago and he was told that his kidneys are only functioning at 20% and are reduced in size. I was thinking perhaps it was one of the drugs like tritace/ramipril and thus my thinking that someone who had a bypass might have experienced the same. He lives on a totally healthy diet, doesnt drink or smoke. Richy
