I just signed on this week...my husband had triple-bypass surgery onJan.11th. He is doing really well (I think), the worst post-opproblem has been sleep apnea. He has just experienced this while onprescription pain-relievers, so now he's getting by on tylenol andmotrin. That seems to have taken care of that problem. He walkedaround the block 3x today. I would be interested in hearing anyone'spersonal experiences with returning to work... he is a lettercarrier, he will need to be able to lift 70 pounds and carry 35 toreturn to full duty. Thanks, cheryl

I haven't had bypass surgery but my 55 yr old husband just recently underwent an emergency quadruple bypass. It took us totally by surprise. I'm just looking for support groups to help me with his recovery, things to expect, etc. Just wanted to introduce myself.

My husband had a quadruple bypass on the 1st of June 2007. The leg that they havested from is still painfull. He goes for his walk everyday to help with the circulation but it is mainly at night that it becomes more painfull. Any suggestions?
