I am trying to figure out something. Are you saying that since you have had by-pass you have developed diabetes ? Or did you have it pre-bypass and are having more complications? The reason I ask is when Charlie was in ICU they gave him insulin and said his sugar was high due to the steroids he was on for pain. He has never had a sugar problem and gets it checked regularly due to it running on his fathers side of the family. Barbee
Barbee l am sure who you asking the ?? to...l was Diagnosed with Diabetes 13 yrs...ago... been on Insulin the past...hmhmhm..l think 4 yrs..now..before that just Diet.. I am a diabetic and have been to school on it. A father cannot give his son diabetes, only his mother can.A father can give it to his daughter. A mother can give it to her son but not to her daughter. Diabetes switches generations like this all the time. Diabetes is hidden in our genes and can appear at any time but it skips generations.
