"nabumetone"
Hi Rambling, I am 61 also and had my surgery when I was 60. I still find it hard to believe that I am this age. Wow, where did the time go! Any way, I take "nabumetone" and take it twice a day and not as needed. For me it doesn't seem to work like a "pain" killer unless I use it daily. Still, if I have sinus or headache I need to take a Tylenol. losing her ribbons as well as her whiskers formerly Countess Talks Too Much
Michal, my nabumetone is 750mg. what is yours. Maybe it would not hurt for me to take it twice a day on the days I need it. I use it about 3 times a week most weeks. Mostly for the chest soreness and arthritis in my joints. It has been great for those cold days when all the joints ache; however, if I take it in the morning then I don't have it for night and sometimes I need it more to help me get to sleep so I just put up with pain during the day so I can take the pill at night. Also I have sinus headaches sometimes and seem to cough much more than I ever did before the surgery. I have congestion that is also a new thing. It's nice to communicate with someone else that's 61.
