Meds & Travel to the UK
Hi everyone! I am going to see my sweetie who lives in London - yes, I know, I know... But I was wondering if there are any meds good for migraines that can be had over the counter (that is, off a shelf rather than by script). Not Paracetamol (or however that's spelled). My usual meds are Fiorcet, Reglan and MANY Bonines (meclazine) for the vertigo. BTW, yesterday I went for an interview to start in a study on Topomax for Migraine rather than for epilepsy - I happened to have a sizeable HA, so they gave me an injection of some cortisone thing, a kind of novocaine and meclazine - IN THE BACK OF MY HEAD!! Needless to say, it did nothing but make my scalp numb. I had the HA until I went to bed at 9:00 PM. YUCK-O! Thanks in advance, everyone! sue h
