Kick off tomorrow morning!
Hi All, I had the pre-op yesterday and was a bit more calm about this than I was the day before. It was especially interesting to meet someone who had a quadruple bypass on friday, who was going home yesterday! 4 days and outta there! The surgeon was walking down the hall when we were on our way to the ACC section and asked me if I'd like to meet someone who just had in his words a lot more done than I'm having done tomorrow ( single bypass) Meedless to say, my wife and I are like zombies today. We have to be at the hospital at 6AM and the surgery is scheduled for 8AM. Oh and I was told that they don't use staples anymore but an adhesive? Says the scar is much better. Does anyone know anything about this? Thank you and regards Tom

Amazing, they are still doing it the same way, immediate dentures, they call it, I've had 3 teeth extracted in the last week, one was pretty diffucult, broke off, he had t dig a lot, painful all the way to my cheek and nose, but I'm finally recovering. Next week, is actually my 1st impression, then 6 more extractions and the immediate denture put in. So I probably got 2-3 more weeks to wait. look pretty damn bad right now, just like the easter bunny...bucky beaver.. I was thinking that the immediate denture was just a tempory, then getting the final, but that doesn't sound like what you had. Thanks for jumping in Donna
