   Hi Linda, I really appreciate your help. It's not that simple in that I am housebound and have been ill for many, many years. I have no faith in doctors and avoid them all I can. I used to have appalling migraines when I was younger but I am very relieved to say they seemed to stop on their own. I only get this painless migraine about twice a year and it goes suddenly after about half an hour so I don't know if it is worth adding to my list of things to tell a new GP if i ever find a decent one! LOL. I think I just needed reasurrance that it was probably a migraine so i think I will go no mail now and hope you all get some help asap. Must be terrible. Thanks so much for letting me jump in.
