Just joined the group.
I have just joined the group and would like say hello to everyone.I had an heart attack in march 2005,went to the doctors,then taken straight to hospital by ambulance.Six days later i were having a quadruple heart bypass.I have been out of hospital five weeks today.At 49 i thought i were to young for heart attacks,how wrong was i.Now i am so glad they saved my life,thank goodness to the N.H.S. I have joined the group to try and get a better understanding of heart disease,so it dosnt happen again. Thank you Ian.
Hello Ian. I think most of the people on this board thought the same thing when it happened to them. Mine was at 46. Do you feel you have a grasp of your diet and cholesterol? Cardiac Rehab. Are you enrolled in a program for that yet? Those are two good places to start. Fred
