   Hello Des You where not the only surprized by 2 bypasses me too.. the doctors too .. my first bypass was on my Aorta abdomenal.. completely blocket ..l could not stand on my feet..or walk.. and had trouble breathing too.. they did their first heart cath on me.. and said only place l was blocket.... hmhmhm.. then 2 yrs later.. started having trouble breathing real bad and chest pain this time.. the right side of the heart ..artery into the heart was 99% blocket this time.. and l have taken meds for this since first surgery..l had regular EKG ..but did not show notting..not unusual either they told me..they put a stent in... did last for 6 months... then an other..lasted 2 months.. it was in a diffecult place..kind of in a bend.. then January 2 2000...just gat out of doctors office.. down in the parkinglot l had bad chest pain..good thing l was across the street from the Hospital and Heart clinic..l had another heartcath that afternoon..and open heart surgery that nite..l almost did not make it either..they could not get me off the Resperator...took them 5 days.. to get me off... It took also a long time to recover too.. still to this day l have lost most feeling on the right side of my chest,,and allways feels cold there..thy used the right side Mammo artery.. Now these days l am doing fine..not up to par like l used to be.. but l am OK.. Like my doc.. says l am walking miracle... Hugzz Rita..in Missouri US...where spring is sprung..lol
