Imitrex Nose Spray
I was wondering if anyone has had much luck with Imitrex Nose Spray? My doctor just suggested that I try it-he said that the tablets did not work fast enough to stop the migraine. Does anyone have any tips on using it? Thanks Suzanne
Tablets didn't work fast enough most times for me. The nasal spray definite works better. The big draw back is the bitter taste you can get down the back of your throat after administration. I find sucking on a strong peppermint candy works pretty well to mask most of the taste. ~~~If you see my sanity DO NOT send it my way!~~~
ok, it taste horrible, the after taste it leaves and in my case it only works about half the time. I taken Zomig a few times and so far it has worked every time..... knock on wood! Barbara
With any nasal spray medication, if you can taste it, especially strongly, you're sniffing in too hard when you spray it. It's supposed to be absorbed through your nasal passages' linings, not your throat. I speak from experience on this. :-) Jeff
