Hello On New Year's Eve
Hello to Everyone and a Very Happy New Year's. My New Year's Eve treat is to break the rules long enough to post this message. Thank you Donna for your kind words. I continue to need prayers. I am so happy that you are doing well. For those of you not familiar this is my story: 49 years old 3 X CABG on August 21, 2003 Hospitalized several times for pericarditis, chest inflammation, sternum infection 2nd surgery on Sept 21, 2004 to repair sternum Nov 2004 stroke Dec 2004 sciatic nerve problem require cane / walker/ special toilet seat, special foam rests for sleeping Dec 22, 2004 diagnosed with tumour on pancreas and gall bladder needs to be removed Now more scans are being done to determine if cancer is present on any other organs Final scan to be done on Jan 6, 2005 on spine What keeps me going is the love I have for my family and my desire to be with them as long as possible. Personally I see no reason for self pity or anger as this will not solve the health issues but that is me and I realize we are all different. I take each day as it comes and get a lot of pleasure from seeing positive things in my family's life. Best wishes to all in 2005 Time to rest again Gail
Gail, God bless, and Happy New Year. May good news about your health be forthcoming soon. That is my wish for you and yours. Please have your family keep us informed when you are unable to do so.
