Fw: sex!!!!!!!????

(Jan wrote:) Hmmm, Sex huh? Well I have a ? here, does anyone else find themselves having sex with a migraine just to satisfy they're spouse? This is the case with me....I just feel like I must do this even if I'm in alot of pain to retain some normalcy in my marriage. I'm not resentful but it's very painful at times and I finds myself "biting the bullet", (no pun intended) so that my husband may enjoy himself. (David wrote:) Just an opinion here, but any Man that needy at any given moment needs to be introduced to his HAND! DUH! As far as keeping things stable within your marriage, if that means giving in to the demands of any man, for the sake of self fulfillment, then personally, I wouldn't bother...... it aint worth it! Besides, any relationship based on love and trust, stands alone just fine. I cannot imagine you actually doing this while in that much pain, and furthermore, I can't imagine someone wanting you to? :o) Dj from Christy: Hi everyone, David (DJ), my boyfriend, uses my computer also and he posts here occasionally. He sort of came in and read one post in the middle of several posts and responded to it. His response was rather off the topic of the ongoing thread, but he wasn't aware of it! He didn't know that there was an ongoing discussion about sex and if sex helps anybody's migraines! When I read his email tonight, I was a little confused, but I hope this will clear things up...he meant well! BTW, sometimes sex has helped me feel better, if what I had was a mild to moderate tension-type headache, but if it's a severe migraine, it will increase the pain (usually can't function in any way when it gets that severe!). In a message dated 7/21/99 10:57:14 PM Central Daylight Time, CJBEnterprises@... writes: Thanks Christy and David, we do have alot of trust and love in our marriage and when I have sex with a migraine, it's out of love for my husband....I always tell him beforehand that I do NOT want to have an orgasm as this makes my migraine worse. I think that it's the closeness that he and I need at the time, not hot, sweaty, all out acrobatic sex LOL. He is very understanding and sex is a very large part of a good marriage...he's always very gentle with me when I have a headache. Thanks for your input and btw...when I have a 10+ he is very close to his hand LOL. Jan :*)

Christy, Congratulations on finding David, and congratulations to him for finding you! It's not easy to find love in this world. I'm sorry your family and some friends can't see past the physical problems; they seem to have a very shallow view of love (I hope you don't mind me saying that). I wonder if that helpful friend who told you to "think positively" and "do volunteer work...get your mind off of yourself" would say the same thing to someone who has cancer, or any other painful, chronic disease? Sometimes people can be so insensitive. Another problem is that migraine is not perceived as the serious medical condition it is. People think it's "just a headache." Hippolyta
