doctors license
My mother had a triple bypass in dec and a 2nd sx for infection in the sternum in jan. she is still have a very tough time recovering due to other health issues (diabetes, anti-biotic induced colitis, etc) my question is I have an issue with one of her doctors, not giving her the correct treatment. I live in nevada and check online and called reno to find out about her license, and there seems to be know record of her having a license to pratice in Nevada. Does anyone know if she would have a license under another name (such as maiden) and how I find out? I want to be absolutely sure about this before I talk to a lawyer. Thanks for all your help. Cheryl
hi cheryl, ron here, just a sugestion but have a friend call the hospital and maybe they can find out some infor for you it should be public information from the hospital and if they refuse then maybe consult a lawyer most wont charge you for asking a question if it was earlier in the day i could call one or get my daughter to call one here in texas and he could possible find out for you. but i think i would just let a friend go up there or call and out and out ask to find out. you know be kinda what we call coye [mispelled i am sure] have them say they are looking for a surgern and heard of that one and ask about schools and certificates and such. just an ideal good luck and i am so sorry that your moma is having so much complications. hope she gets better real soon cheryl <herringtoncheryl@... If she recently moved to Nev. she may be listed in the state she used to practice. It takes time for the information to show up in the state you move to for some reason so I woud be sure she is not licensed in another state or showing in another state. She might also have a certain amount of time before she has to get her license in Nev. If that is not the case, going to a lawyer sounds like a very good idea. Ann
