Pain and Pillows When I had my double masectomy I was only given a folded up flannel sheet. It hellped. And when I had my bypass, they sent me home with a folded pillow. Gosh. I finally got my son stuffed bunny he had as a kid. It worked like a charm. The absolute worst pain I experienced after my bypass was at home when I choked on my zillion pills. I still need a sleeping pill and I adjust my bed depending on how I feel. I have noticed that when I lie down and become still I become anxious, thus the sleeping pill and music that I like.
