Hi All and Wlecome to the group, Connie!! I too was soo angry reading your posts, like they say, YOU are the employer, the Drs. are the employee..... And YES, that guy should be reported on, whether it is to the hospital, board or his boss, somebody should know about him, to help others too..... Reading about Blood Pressures, I too will have to post, think mine is fine, I do have a cuff too. It won't hurt to double check. My last surgery was August 24, 2004. Debridement of my complete sterum, scraping down the bone to get rid of infection that has plagued me since ByPass- July, 2003. I've also have all wires removed, because of infection. I have quite a large indentation from my normal chest line from the surgery, some will fill in but not all, I'm sure. Not going to look good for scoop neck tops or swim suit. But what is important, IS HOW GOOD I FEEL, it's wonderful, I got my energy back, but I still take a nap every day, even if I'm not tired, I still fall asleep for a couple of hours. My chest is mostly numb, my boobs are misalighed, even though I've had a mastectmomy, the space is larger too. Too many surgeries and tightening of my chest, I guess. I do take most of my pills, 10 of them...at night, just dump them all in, and go to bed...how do they know where to go anyway.. I do hope everyone will get to feeling better and soon.
