Hi Bogie, I don't know if were on the high side of SSD, or the low side, he was 55 and retired fron Twin Cities Ford Plant, he was on the assembly line for 30 years. We got a back payment for 3 years, his monthly is 1493.00 a month, just goes in the bank automatically. Of course he has his pension too. We are both just 60, I have tried to get SSI but was turned down. Not quite sure what the DR's would say about me working now, but when I quit working in 1999, he needed me at home for him. He spends most time in bed, laying flat, on lot of pain pills. Personally, I feel to active to be on disability, but it is getting harder to get in and out of the car.....lol take care, Donna
