Database help
Gang, You can look at the Exercise database and see the problem I'm having. WHo ever put the joke up, in the database, did a great joke of making the column width wider which I would like to do. Can someone help me with this. Right now it looks pretty crappy and this database should be something we can be proud of. A step by step procedure would be great and would make it simple for a pump head like me. Thanks in advance Rus

Hi Rus, I'm the one who started that Joke Database. It is with the columns width, I just didn't do the columns, then it came up as width for text. Of course, I didn't realize what I was doing at the time...laughing..... I have been looking for the posts for which you asked for, there has been over 1,000 for Feb and March so far. It's taking some time.. Our numbers of posts has tripled in the last few months, have you noticed that? I have been trying a "testing" place in the database to experiment, so not to wreck 1 of the databases. Thanks for doing the databases, they will be appreciated by many. I too, love the computer(s) and what they can do, of course, they need the interesting brain to challenge them. Then I think who is challenging whom? Rus, why would think I get my "jollies" on other peoples sickness? Why did you lash out at me? You don't even know me. I am refering to Post 11980. Why would say those things to me? I'm not a harsh person, I'm married 40 years to same wonderful guy, have 4 beautiful daughters, 3 grandkids, age 60. Have you been talking to my daughters in their teenage years? Maybe I was harsh raising them, it was a very challenging time. I love to golf, and bake goodies, especially choc. chip cookies, I love the computer and all the stuff it can do, I challenge myself daily on it, I do all the upkeep on it, to keep it going, husband Jim, just uses the e-mail, I love to do craft things, love to quilt, and look at quilting at the shows, I love to garden and do all the yardwork, it's been hard the last couple years, not having the strength to do landscaping and gardening. I belong to a Liberal Catholic Church (with even no kneelers!). We have a summer place, April to October, Jim isn't able to go much because of his back, that's a another story...but I go, there's a 9 hole terrific golf course, golf carts buzzing all over, there's a large pool, I go there everyday, and 298 other famailies and retirees.
