Cholesterol Results Update
All, CABG 3/24/05 x3, almost 6 weeks post op & 30+ days on new cholesterol lowering med, Vytorin. Prior test date 3/4/05, 7 years on Prevacol, mixed results, never achieved what Dr. wanted & I paid for it 3/24, oh well... I get the message. My doc is very high on new Vytorin & now I can see why.... Lowered Total Chol from 224 to 126 Lowered LDL from 136 to 63 Lowered Tri from 221 to 94 HDL remained unchanged at 44 Is anyone else having similiar results with Vytorin? Better diet & daily exercise helped, but majority of improvement is from new med, I believe. I am back to work I feeling great. Will complete 4th week of cardio rehab tomorrow.
