Heart Bypass Surgery

Bogie wrote <y laprascopic or the long cut method? I had the lapscpc method. I'm angry for different reasons. Cause 2 out of the 4 (bypass) closed in a months time. How did you know this? My husband had CABG last month (7/6)- 5 blockages - 4 bypass - and this is his biggest fear now. The cardiologist refused to meet with us until midSeptember saying it was too early. In the hospital they suggested a low salt diet and he is now on Lipitor. He is 67, total cholestrol before was 170 something, not diabetic, not over weight, active, family history of heart problems. The surgery was over 8 hours (they had to reopen since there was bleeding from mammary artery they could not use) and he doesn't feel well, lots of pain and things seem to be improving slowly.
