Hello. My name is Elizabeth. I am 27 years old and am looking for some answers. I have thyroid cancer that has spread to my chest and am scheduled to have an operation this coming Tues (7/27/04) which resembles that of open heart surgery. I have tons of questions regarding the recovery for this kind of surgery. I am a mother of four (an eight year old, a six year old, a sixteen month old and a four week old) and am wondering what is realistic for me to expect of myself. I would like to be able to pump breast milk for my newborn and other such concerns. Am I in the right place? Please help. Sincerely, Elizabeth Beregron
