a little worried....
Hey all, I have a q for everybody..........The last time that I saw my dr he started telling me about another local dr. He told me that the other dr hands out drugs freely... and doesnt question patients but, that is because he is a drug addict himself (i found this out later from my mother) Then Dr. Mckenzie told me that if he ever finds out that any of his patients have gone tosee this other dr that he asks them to leave. but, he kept on telling me about all of the drugs that the other dr would prscribe ....... does this sound like he is trying to push the othr dr on me? like maybe he wants me to go and see him and then tat would be his excuse not to see me anymore? he has been getting frustrated with me latley.... do you all think that this is his way af wanting me to leave? Thanks
Vicki, I think your Dr. is trying to bait you into seeing the other dr. Your suspicisouns are probably right. I would stay away from either of them. Of course I don`t know the situation, choice of doctots you are dealing with so that may be easier said than done! I wish you luck and go with your instincts! Barbara

In my own experience doctors will play all sorts of games to get you to walk if they aren't really interested in treating headache. I should know, I've called my fair share on the carpet through various means. ~~~If you see my sanity DO NOT send it my way!~~~
I would seriously question the ethics of any doctor who would discuss the medical and legal problems of another doctor. Unless you particularly like being a patient of your present doctor, I would consider reporting him to the local and state medical associations. If he discusses personal affairs of colleagues, what's to say he doesn't do the same with his patients' affairs? This is appalling. Jeff
