2 weeks post op gabg-how much?
How much and how far can I push myself 2 weeks post op. Surgery was done due to clogged arteries with no symptoms. How far can/should I walk? I am an active person who needs things to do. Can I tie up my tomato plants?

Hi mamdmd, Let your body be the judge of how far you'll be able to push the proverbial envelope - but don't go lifting heavy objects by no any means(at two weeks post-op, you're still being held together with glue and baling wire!) I'm no 4 weeks post-op, and today the Mrs and I mowed the yard together. It felt great to be active again, but I do feel a tad sore at the moment. I think when you're actually up and about the surgical injuries are masked by whatever endorphins your body produces from that "It's great to be alive" high - but afterwards, reality sets it. LOL God speed on your recovery! :-)
